Some 65% of American men aged 62-74 with a professional degree are in the workforce, compared with 32% of men with only a high-school certificate. In the European Union the pattern is similar.
So the next time somebody starts waffling on about the boomer generation or older generation you can use this is an example (and there are a lot more) of the massive range in differences between different lifestyles, incomes, education etc.
