AARP has been busy, working with Oxford Economics, putting some numbers around the value of the older consumer market.
Lots of interesting stats. This chart caught my eye, showing the change in the things older Americans are spending their money on. Clothing and food suffer – recreation and education increase.
What would have been interesting is to see how different this shift in spend is compared with other age groups. Whatever, it is a good bit for research and is stuffed with useful charts that will help with your presentations.
