We would like to welcome danah boyd to the group of thinkers who regularly contribute to our blog. A graduate from MIT MediaLab, this social media researcher at Yahoo Research, is also a PhD Student at the School of Information of the University of California, Berkeley.
Like many of our contributors, she's a little hard to "fit in a box", yet she's an ace when it comes to understanding the social context of digital media, identity in the virtual space and visualising people networks and interactions. She also regularly publishes papers and presentations, of which you can find a collection here.
If you want to see danah in live action, check out her March appearance on the O'Reilly show (click on image to start video). As usual, we've also included a selection of her past musings, which you can find by simply entering "danah" in the search box.
