Strategy, innovation, the role of marketing and - oh dear - actually selling something.  Those are the topics our new contributor John Caddell will be blogging about in times to come.  As founder and principal of Caddell Insight Group, John is a recognized expert in telecommunications, outsourcing and enterprise software.

He has more than 20 years experience in high-tech product development and marketing, including assignments at EDS and GTE (now Verizon). Most recently, he served for five years as an executive officer of EUR Systems, an IT services company focused on the telecommunications industry, as head of sales, marketing and new market development.


And what's more important to us than all the above, he's got a sharp eye for picking those topics which appear simple from a distance, yet when you really think about them are actually "pretty deep".
