VoC: What’s Wrong With VoC and How Do You Get It Right? (Part II)

In the previous post I shared the first part of my discussion around VoC with Erich Dietz, VP of Business Solutions at Mindshare Technologies (specialists in customer surveys and enterprise feedback).  The key point of that post was captured in Erich’s words: “No-one is really doing VoC surveys with the customer in mind!” In this post I wish to share/discuss with you the other big issue that came up in my conversation with Eric.  Before that lets just briefly summarise best practice in soliciting customer feedback.

Technology Set to Evolve and Confuse until 2040

I’ll be quite old then, so perhaps won’t even have the ability to touch, shout or finger my way around technology like I can now. However, I’ll be safe in the knowledge that at the ripe old age of 62 there will be lots of interesting technology out there which will have evolved from the stuff we are playing around with now.

The New Digital Realism: Retina Display, Lytro and Senseg

The real world has never been more real, with the latest proof being the release of the much-hyped Retina Display on the new iPad from Apple. This new tablet screen, boasting a jaw-dropping 3 million pixels of visual goodness, promises visual clarity greater than that capable of being processed by the human retina. In a review for The Washington Post, Joshua Topolsky compared the new Retina Display to "glowing paper."

First Few Slices of Technological Innovation at #mwc12

You certainly know you are in Spain when you can spot the Patanegra at a buffet, but the motivation for the happy few who were present and invited act the showstoppers event in Barcelona today, didn’t quite come for the quality of the cured ham. Press pass bearing delegates (including bloggers) were indeed allowed in after a short wait a little after 4pm on Sunday 26th and therefore I was able to spend two hours looking at some of the innovations which were on display. Here is a selection, enhanced with a few pictures.
