Ukraine. Sitting here in StrawberryFrog New York, I am glued to the
very cool studios along the Volga. Or should I say Nile...as in Nile Studio, a very hot shop in a very cold landscape, with a very funky website.

The Russian blogosphere (ca. 2 million journals) is going crazy about the recent Rexona ad campaign. A new TV ad (click here to see video) together with a promo-site announced that Russian women... er... were less attentive to themselves than Polish or German ladies.

If you think marketing innovation is something we've got down here in the West, think again.  When confronted with a overstock of bottled water in the stores, a local business man of the city of Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan in the Caucasus came up with a brilliant sell-through campaign which sold out his total inventory in 72 hours flat.
