The Renewable Electron Economy Part VIII.2: The Electric Farm - 2

This model of a farm had 1 large tractor with 250kW(335 hp) maximum power output and 4 smaller tractors with 50kW (67hp) maximum power output (though working at 50% power on the peak energy day).

It seems that nearly every brand is drowning in its own beliefs about Customer Relationship Management (CRM). They all believe that only warmth drives purchase; that customers have to love the brand to use it; that the brand has to be highly visible among top management, even though they are a relatively small group of people.

Top 15 Coolest Worldwide

Dutch-based "Sign of the times" has published their 15 coolest (things?) worldwide. Some of them are mechanical wonders, like the levitating functional light bulb, to the oddly named Space Disco, and also such bizarre selections as the Momento Mori by Barry Barton, an Australian who makes jewelry out of animals.

What are the criteria for this thought-provoking list? Who knows.

Bergman's Secret TV Commercials

Recently Ingmar Bergman, the Swedish director died. He was responsible for some of the most influential and memorable films of the 1960s and 70s, including Fanny and Alexander.
His cinema work greatly influenced a lot of commercials directors and cinematographers. Recently I stumbeld upon the work that started his career.

A Secret Corporate Weapon: The Brand Pathway

A Swedish CEO client of mine once told me that the best management employ a technique called 'Management by Repetition." The challenge for him, as it is for every CEO, is how do you get the organization behind one company cultural mission. Not an ad campaign, but behind a culture on the move.

Denise Lee Yohn, the former VP marketing of Sony USA wrote some similar advice last week in Brandweek, although she goes a lot further.
