As announced before, one of the ways to celebrate our 1000 days blog anniversary is the launch of a report in which we reconsider the advertising industry.  

Written by Alain Thys and Stefan Kolle, the report dives into the growing disconnect between what advertising agencies offer, and what their clients are looking for. Client needs are consistently ignored. Agency operations are “out of synch” with global business realities. Statements by agency leaders lack authenticity.

This report articulates what we've all been thinking for a while now.

Some of us have been doing something about it. At We Are Social we're trying to throw away the baggage of saturation bombing consumers and re-frame what we do in terms of having conversations with and between people. Time will tell if we're getting it right...
